DAO THI THANH HUYEN (Vietnam)
I’m having a happy life every single day in Japan!
I’m a big fan of Manga since I was a little girl. I like ‘Doraemon’ the most. I started learning Japanese at a high school in Vietnam. After entering University, there was a chance for me to come to Japan and here I am.
I’m studying at a cram school class now but I was studying at a Regular class last semester. There were elective lessons twice a week. I chose ‘sub-culture’ for it. Went to Akihabara and took pictures with costume players, searching for the vending machines which sell canned fish cakes and canned Ramens. It was very fun.
Last time when the Christmas party was held, it was very exciting. All the students who speak Japanese well or not, cooperated together and made an amazing performances. What I was impressed the most about Christmas season in Japan, it was its illuminations. It was sparkling and sparkling. I think the illumination of Omotesando was the most beautiful one which is near to the school. It was perfect and excellent.
Nowadays, my hobby is going to free-markets. Winter in Japan is so cold that I bought coat and cap. I could buy brand new stuffs at a good bargin.
My plan is to improve my Japanese level. I want to see and travel a lot during staying in Japan.

I could improve my writing skill through the private guidance of Graduate school.
When I was a first grade of high-school, I was impressed by the amazing concert video of ‘Johnny's’. Since then, I started studying Japanese language to understand dialogues of dramas and stories of variety shows. I’m so in love with Kazuya Kamenashi all my life. Not only because he is handsome but because I think he’s a responsible person.
It’s fun to live in Japan. I’m fond of taking photos. Recently, I went to Mt. Takao the weather was clear so that I could see Mt. Fuji and it was so beautiful. What I was surprised here in Japan, is that in jam-packed trains, people who are standing reads newspapers and books no matter of train jolt. I thought it was amazing.
The characteristic of graduate school class, at which I’m studying, is that I can get a private guidance from the teacher. The teacher looks over my research proposals and I think it’s great. I could become skillful in writing short essays. I had no idea of writing styles such as 「である調」 or literary style before I came to Japan. Next year, I will go to graduate school for 2 years. I want to study hard and then I want to find a job in the education industry in Japan.

I realized the importance of ‘Never giving up on something’ before I try.
At SB class – one of cram school classes, I prepare for the EJU. I am studying not only Japanese vocabularies, idioms and many other areas but studying the subject ‘Japan and the world’, so I think it’s very good for me. It is hard to keep up with the class, indeed. I haven’t studied everything of Reading, listening and listening-reading comprehensions so I was flustered and nervous at first however, I could get adapted as time goes by and realized the importance of ‘Never giving up on something’ before I try.
Classmates are both my friends and my rivals. There are many excellent students better than me and I kind of have feeling of defeating them. From now on, after passing the entrance exam of the university where I want to go, I want to find out what I want to do, and then I’ll do my best!

I’m having a fun school life with many friends from various countries and regions.
It’s been a year and half since I entered this school. I’ve been really having a pleasant time. My Japanese level has been improved quite well but what more important is being friends with people from various countries and regions – Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Russia and France. I couldn’t even imagine of this when I was in China.
I was working at a company in China. However I thought that I wanted to study more and to enter a Japanese graduate school. That’s why I started learning Japanese language. Actually, there’s an entrance exam for the graduate school which I apply, next month. After school, I’m studying English and specialized knowledge of marketing. What I wish for the most at the moment is, to finish the exam of next month. I hope that I could be a graduate school student next year!

Studying Japanese on weekdays, drawing at weekends Doing her best to enter a art college.
I’ve always been thinking about going to Japan someday to learn abroad because I’ve been interested in Kimono and Origami since a long time ago from reading books about Japanese culture. I think that at Art colleges in Japan, I can draw paintings with more free thoughts than that of Korea so I’m aiming to enter an art college.
On weekdays, I study Japanese language at this school and on weekends, I go to an art institute at Shinjuku. It makes me busy to do the tasks but it also makes me fun. I’m practicing to paint in oils. I want to study hard not only Japanese but painting so that I can enter an art college. I want to major in oil painting at college but if I can, I also want to study architecture and design.

MS. KHASAG ERDENEBILEG (Mongolia)
To become a dental hygienist!
I came to Japan on January, 2011. I’ve been thinking that Japanese people have polite and quiet personalities, it turned out to be true. However, I was surprised to see many people gathering at the stations. Now, I’m used to it. By the way, there’s no such thing in Mongolia as people waiting in line for their meals, when I see it, I think, ‘do they have to do that for meals? It’s unbelievable...’
I’ve been studying Japanese since when I was in university in Mongolia, here in Japan, I want to learn more specialized thing. I think it is hard to learn Japanese grammar but t think I can make it unless I give it up. After graduating this school, I want to enter a vocational school to get a dental hygienist license so I’m doing my best to achieve it.

The graduation valedictory speech of CHANG CHIA-CHEN (Taiwan)
A lesson from God
First of all, I’m very proud of you are here at the graduation ceremony.
Last Friday (March 11th), there was a big earthquake we’ve never experienced before.
For that reason, the lessons of last 1 week were canceled.
However, I think this one week was a lesson from God.
Through this earthquake, I could experience so many things about the importance of human life, consideration for others and so on.
It was a great lesson which I could never forget.
Some of us are graduating and some of us are not but whoever we are, we keep on studying.
No matter what happens in our life, it will be a lesson. No matter where and no matter when, we can learn from everything.
I think it was a good choice coming to Japan. Thank you.
I really would like to thank the teachers who prepared this warm ceremony for us in spite of such situation like this.
Everybody, do your best!
And let’s pray for Japan!

The address of WANG NAI-CHEN (Taiwan)
Farewell is another word for a new meeting
Do you remember the day when you came to this school for the first time? How was it like? Was it an excitement for waiting for the new school life? Or was it a surprise from a little bit shabby building? I was nervous since there was a placement test and being in a strange place. So I don’t quite remember the day. There were so many things to procedure and register, the first week had been passed and the class had started. Now it’s been a year in the twinkle of an eye.
I sometimes think that the moment spent at this place will be a precious memory, indeed. Because there’re so many things I’ve learnt not only visible thing like Japanese language but invisible things such as difference of culture through the cultural exchange with friends from other countries and friendship through many events. I believe that it will be a precious memory for the graduating students today.
As there’s such saying ‘New meeting is another word for a farewell’, today is the day for a farewell. It makes you sad when you say good-bye. But on the other hand, it is an event to be celebrated because a farewell is another word for a new meeting.
Some of the graduating students are going back to their home country and some of them are entering upon studies. There will be a new meeting coming no matter which you decide. Therefore, don’t look back, get forward hopefully and bravely. You probably will be meeting with difficulties. At times like that, please look back upon memories here. The principal, who is sitting in front of the window and always watching us gently, and kind teachers, who are sometimes like your friend and sometimes like your mother, and friends, who have studied and played with you, they are all your side.
We call it a graduation today, but it doesn’t mean that we have nothing to do with each other. Please come by here sometimes. The teachers are waiting for the day to talk with you again. Last of all, congratulations on your graduation!

The Japanese language is difficult but I want to follow my dreams and I want them to come true and will face the difficulties!
I am glad that I came to study in Japan. Every day I go to school and on weekends meet with my Korean and Thai classmates to hang out. It is really fun. All of the teachers in school are very kind. It was mine first experience to live abroad alone. In the beginning I often felt down, but in time I got used to it. What do you think about the Japanese language? For me it is very difficult. Japanese grammar is different from Thai grammar and we do not use Chinese characters, but classes are very interesting and I try my best. It was my dream to come to Japan. I will work hard for my dream to come true. I look forward to studying more with you and your continuous support.

I have been studying in this school for 6 months and now I understand RPG games story. I am really happy about that. I have learned lots of new words, my conversation has improved, my listening has also improved and I can read faster because of playing RPG games. Japanese language study is really fun!

YOO SEUL JI (Korea・ Previously Graduated Student)
The School like my home. The teachers are like my family.
It seems to me that I came to Japan only yesterday, but 3 years have already passed. At first I was anxious because I did not speak well in Japanese. School became like home to me. It was difficult to get used to life in Japan but my teacher became like family to me and helped me a lot. The kind smiles on my teacher's faces helped me many times. I found the school I want to study at. I was really touched by the fantastic teachers in this school. I will do my best to make my dream to come true. I want to become a better student and will try my best to do that.

Fashion City・Luxurious Omotesando!
I like Japanese fashion. The school is situated between Gaenmae, Omotesando and Harajuku. It is a very stylish area. You can see many stylish people while going from Omotesando to Harajuku. Fashion in Japan is more interesting than fashion in Hong Kong. I came from Hon Kong. People there can speak English, but only one or two out of ten people can speak Japanese. That is why I am so proud I can speak the Japanese language.
